The address book service enables the access to all entries of the personal address book and contains the most important address book elements. Most comfortable search functions allow searching for first name and last name within the address book entries using wildcard (*). Addresses can be edited or new addresses can be saved by jobs previously saved on the web server and are executed when the home computer connects to the server. As an option successful execution can be confirmed by SMS.

 

 

The access to the scheduler is as comfortable as it is within Outlook. Daily, weekly or monthly overviews give best orientation. As within the address book module, the schedule can be edited or new entries can be saved using jobs. In addition automatic reminders can be configured as SMS or depending on the software of the WAP mobile phone saved in the scheduler of the phone, so using the local services.

 

 

By the synchronisation procedure executed by the local Home Office Program all e-mail entries within Outlook are transferred or updated on the web server and can be accessed by the WAP handy. No limitation is existing for sending, receiving, forwarding e-mails through WAP. Attachments can be sent as e-mail attachment or as telefax (if suitable) – once again jobs are executing complex sendings on the local computer. Little precious communication time is needed on the WAP device even for large attachments for the dispatch of the messages is done on the local computer. Most comfortable filters (date, sender, subject) allow quick orientation within the e-mail folders.

 

 

Access to files within a preselected folder, such giving the possibility to join attachments to e-mails or to send the files (if suitable) as telefaxes – once again intelligent jobs execute all of this on the local computer.

 

 

Through WAP the time for the next execution of jobs can be asked or the next time interval for job execution can be defined. All different elements of Outlook can be updated in different time intervals, configured on the home server.

 

 

Configuration of the WAP menu allows branding and adding of additional links to offer more information.

 

 

The software is enabled to deal with different user groups and configurations of the WAP portal (muti mandant enabled). Every group can be configured with different WAP portal and different logos. Through the use of an HTML page which allows for individual design, the customers of the different mandants can register in the system and load down the home computer synchronisation software.
